Text Box: The name of our organization is the Maltby Parent Teacher Organization. The Maltby PTO’s relationship within the Maltby Community, which includes students, teachers, parents/guardians and patrons, is vital to the success of our children’s future. Our purpose is to foster a sense of support, pride, and enthusiasm. Through fundraising and family activities we will promote positive school/community relationships that enhance our children’s educational environment.

Text Box: Volunteer News Flash!!! WE NEED YOU!! Spring Read-A-Thon Committee Members Needed Are you interested in being part of the Read-A-Thon Committee? The Read-A-Thon kick off is early March. We will start planning this fundraiser when we return from the holiday break. Anyone interested please contact the PTO via gmail or Corinne Barinaga at rinnerb@live.com. Text Box: January Staff Appreciation-Welcome Back Winter Tuesday, January 10th Hosted by the 1st Grade The January Staff Appreciation Luncheon will be here before we know it! Since the lunch will take place soon after the students return, we would like to go ahead and start rounding up some volunteers now. The lunch is scheduled for Tuesday, January 10th, and it will be hosted by the 1st Grade. If you are a parent of a 1st grade student and would like to participate in this event by providing a food dish or dessert to our "Welcome Back Winter" themed luncheon we would love to hear from you! Following is a list of specific items that we are in need of: 2 - 3 crockpots of chili and/or clam chowder 2 - 3 LARGE salads (green, pasta, etc.) sliced french bread or rolls fruit tray veggie tray 2 - 3 desserts variety of hot chocolate packets for "hot chocolate bar" Of, if you have any other warm main dish ideas (i.e. other soups, casseroles, hot sandwiches, etc.) we are open to any and all suggestions! Please send the socks to school with your child between January 9 - 20th, or you can drop them off in the bin in the office.
