Staff Appreciation |

The PTO is once again showing our appreciation to the wonderful teachers and staff this school year by hosting monthly luncheons in their honor. Each month, typically on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, we will be providing a delicious themed lunch for them to enjoy. A different grade level will take turns hosting each month, so we will be looking for 8 - 9 parents on a monthly basis from the designated grade level who want an opportunity to show their appreciation in a fun and creative way. If you want to participate there is no set up or clean up required, as the Staff Appreciation Coordinators will take care of all that, we are simply looking for volunteers to donate a food dish. |

2 Bingo Nights annually are hosted by your PTO. One in the Fall and one in the Winter. These events help support the Maltby Food Bank.
The next Bingo Night will be in February from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in the gym. Admission is a canned food donation to the Maltby Food Bank or $1.00.

The Maltby PTO hosts 2 Book Fairs annually. One during Fall Conferences and the other during Spring Conferences. These book fairs help fund the library. |

Our walk-a-thon is a school wide, fun and fit activity for all students. Walking, music and other fun activities will be part of this event to be held during the school day. Each student will be awarded a small prize as a token of our appreciation on the day of the walk.

Time to get into the Maltby Mustang spirit! You can now order t-shirts and hoodies featuring the “new” Maltby Mustang design. Orders can be placed now through November 11th with delivery expected prior to the week of December 12th. Holidaze is scheduled to take place on the evening of December 8th and is a fun event for both kids and adults. Kids are able to go shopping and pick out small inexpensive gifts for their family members. There are volunteers there to help the children shop, pay and get their gifts wrapped, while the parents wait on the other side of the gym where they cannot see what is being bought and can enjoy hot chocolate, coffee & cookies. Other things available at Holidaze are a nice selection of vendors for the adults to shop from, a Santa Claus where you can get your Santa Photos (always a short line here!) and a holiday arts and crafts section where you can purchase a craft for as little as 25 cents up to $3.00 and either make it there or take it home and put it together. |
